Arushi encourages disabled children to participate in various programs held by different organization in order to promote their integration. This helps boost their confidence. In order to provide positive role models for children, interaction with sportspersons, film stars, writers, music maestros and scientists is facilitated.

Arushi organizes regular excursions and trips, visits to places of interest like historical sites, museums and parks. Children are exposed to a wide spectrum of activities from animation film making to sports such as chess and cricket.

The annual car rally in which the blind are the navigators for the participants. The route map is in Braille.
