Awareness on disability is low. Children with disability do not get suitable intervention at the appropriate time. Besides, there are many myths and misconceptions associated with them that come in way of their inclusive education. Arushi has undertaken sensitization and awareness programs in the six DIETs (District Institutes of Education and Training) of Bhopal, Indore, Dhar, Jhabua, Guna and Shivpuri with support from UNICEF and Rajya Shiksha Kendra.
