Arushi provides financial support to students with disabilities for pursuing their education. Several students receive support under sponsorship schemes.
Interest free loans are also given to those who might like to start small employment ventures.
Vocational training, placement counseling and opportunities are provided with the help of professionals in various fields. Arushi has successfully placed several disabled persons in vocations such as managing telephone booths, photocopying units and in private offices as office assistants.
A training center for Braille, computer and typing has been running since 1996.
Training programs are also held by Arushi for employers in order to sensitize them to the needs of persons with disabilities.
